Join us on Saturday, January 9 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. for a guided hike in the Gorge with Executive Director, Rick Huffines.

Plan to meet in the parking lot located next to the La Quinta Inn on Brown’s Ferry Road. From there, we will carpool to the Tennessee River Gorge Trust Bird Observatory where we will hike approximately 1.5-2 miles. This hikewill be a fairly easy one – there is some uneven terrain and a few small climbs. Wear sturdy shoes and pack a lunch and some water. Primitive restroom facilities are available.

Directions to Meeting Place from Downtown Chattanooga:
Take I-24 west towards Nashville. Travel around Moccasin Bend and then take Exit 175 to Brown’s Ferry Road. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right. You will see the La Quinta Inn on the left. Turn into the old Food Lion parking lot just after you pass the hotel.
