The Chattanooga Nature Center, Tennessee Aquarium, UTC, and Reflection Riding Arboretum and Botanical Garden hosted the second annual Chattanooga BioBlitz. Last year this outstanding event brought together over 200 scientists, volunteers and program participants from around the region to explore and celebrate our region’s extraordinary biodiversity. Over the course of 24 hours, almost 700 species of plants and animals residing at the nature center, Reflection Riding and in Lookout Creek were counted and identified.
Thanks to all who visited our booth and made peanut-butter pinecone birdfeeders!
